The stage two landscape works for the Stanley Terrace residence in Taringa Brisbane were recently completed.  Stage two included the top terrace, front entry, turf driveway and the three internal courtyards.  This completed the landscape design which holistically embraces the architectural brilliance of Loucas Zahos Architects.  The design completely controls the experience and involves a ‘ying’ of the existing and a ‘yang’ of the new. The design embraces the natural sloping landform of the site, creating an experience which begins at the upper street level and shifts down through a series of slopes and terraces.  The shifting landscape intensifies the experience of the hardscape elements that extend from the house.
