Conlon Birrell

This multi levelled townhouse development is located within the town of Gladstone. The design sustainably deals with storm water through a bio-retention planting area and rain water re-use tank. Dense native vegetation surrounds the development screening it from neighbouring properties whilst also providing shade and a green bush feel to the site. The coloured paving strips within the outdoor foyer of the development continue through the units into their private garden courtyards all of which are slightly different to the next. The communal spaces within the development use the strip paving pattern to create usable spaces.
