Beerwah is a growing town situated inland within the Sunshine Coast. Being situated just north of the Glass House Mountains provides a beautiful landscape backdrop for Beerwah and the site. Having this close proximity to the Glass House Mountains National Park and many other surrounding park areas the site is valued as being a connecting corridor and a part of the overall matrix of ecosystems surrounding the area. The site currently provides habitat and food for many species of fauna from the Glossy Black Cockatoo to the Fritillary Butterfly and many macropod species. This proposed development aims to retain, enhance and rehabilitate these natural ecosystems in a way that allows nature to coexist with the proposed dwellings within the site. The landscape design looks to create minimal impacts on the environment through minimal and gentle design intervention within an already inhabited location.
